Drag-and-Drop Interface

Before you is a tutorial video about updating website pages, the header, and the footer.

 

Underneath you can find textual explanations about the different topics presented in the video.

 
Editing the website

You can edit the site header of any page as well as the page body and the footer. You can edit any element in a page by clicking the element and then clicking Edit/Advanced Editor.

 

By clicking Edit, you can edit the text in the page itself.

Clicking Advanced Edit will open a MS Word-like processor which will allow you to use advanced editing features.


Clicking Save will save the changes you made to the page.

Drag and Drop Interface

 

The drag and drop management tool is at the bottom of the page and is divided into tabs:

  • Basic: Title, Text, Images, Template1, Video, Forms, Albums. These are the most useful tools.
  • Text: Title, Text, Paragraph, Separation Line, Button, HTML.
  • Multimedia: Images, Video, Sound Player, Download File, Flash (SWF), YouTube.
  • Modules: Forms, Album, Survey, Map, Category Content, Content Templates, Language Bar.
  • Layouts: Different kinds of layouts.
 

In order to use a certain layout (template), drag the tool to the website's content, to a location you think is suitable. Click the tool after moving it and choose from the management options available to you. Any new object added will be above or below the existing object.

 

The Layouts tab can be sued when you need a specific kind of page.

You can drag various objects into the layout.

You can drag layout into a layout, drag it out, or erase it.


You can drag existing elements on the page into a layout.

Image

Clicking an image will display a drop down menu with the image's settings.

In order to resize the image, click Resize or Settings (resize in pixels).

 

Edit Layout

Hover over the layout to display a top blue toolbar above the layout.

On the right are three icons:

  •  - Change size
  •  - Container design
  • - Remove
 

In order to match the layout to an image size, click the Change Size icon. A diamond-like shape will appear which you can drag right or left as per your needs.
