Forms

Before you is a tutorial video about adding and editing forms on your website and various management tools.

Underneath are textual explanations about the different subjects presented in the video.

Adding a form

First you must create the form on the website and then implement it in the desired page.

Click Features >> Tools >> Add.

After that, you can create the form by clicking Tools >> Forms >> Add/Edit Form.

Creating a form

Step 1 - General form definitions

  • Enter the form's header - the name of the form. This name will remain in the system and is visible only to the owner of the website.
  • Note - Any comments or notes the website owner wishes to enter.
  • Enter an email address to which notifications will be sent whenever the form is filled.
  • Enter text you'd like to appear in the form's send button - the text the user will see on the button that sends the form information.
  • Should there be a button for deleting the content entered by the user? - Displaying this reset button clears the information entered into the form.
  • Should the user be required to type in a special code (Captcha) before submitting the form? - This prevents spam from automatic engines. A captcha looks like this:

Create your form quickly and easily using a ready template.

You can choose a form from an available selection of form templates:

  • Simple Contact Form
  • Advanced Contact Form
  • Survey Form
  • Guestbook Form
  • Manual

Message upon submitting form

In this window you can enter content that will be presented to the viewer right after sending the form. The content will be displayed instead of the form for a number of seconds.

The time the viewer waits until the page disappears can be edited in this window under "The number of seconds to wait until the page changes".

In addition, you can add a link to which the viewer will be redirected after sending the form and can receive text notifications whenever the form is filled and sent.

This service is available for an additional fee and needs to be purchased.

Automatic reply

In this window you can enter content you'd like the visitor to receive to their email after filling the form. This email will be sent from the website owner's email address.

Make sure to check the box for "Activate automatic reply for this form?"

Form Design/Frame

Here is where you can define the colors of the form.

For advanced users, there is an option to enter CSS code to design the button in the field "CSS Button Style (Advanced Users)".

If you'd like the forms buttons to appear in the last line of the form, as per the example:

Check the box "Should the buttons of the form be displayed within the same line as the last field of the form?"

Login authorization

The form can be defined as a page.

In the event that you decide to define it as such, you can limit access to the page by checking the box "Do you wish to restrict non-members from viewing this page?"
