Social Bar

In this article, we will discuss the tools in the Social menu in the toolbar and how to use them.

Social Networks Bar

The Social Bar element allows you to display social networks icons in your website and link them to desired URLs. Implementing the toolbar is done by dragging the Social Bar icon to the desired location. You can change the displayed icons and the display style by clicking the Social Bar on the page and choosing one of the following options from the menu:

Settings - Here you can change the social bar’s display. You can display the social bar horizontally or vertically and you can determine the space between the social network icons.

Choose networks - The system offers different social network buttons. In this window you can add or remove icons from a list of available icons in the system. In order to link an icon to a desired page, enter the page's URL in the Link field and check the box next to it.

Adding a Facebook Like Button

The Facebook Like element allows you to add a Like button to the website's pages for more intuitive and efficient sharing. Clicking this button while the visitor is connected to his/her Facebook account will automatically share this page on Facebook with a Recommendation from the visitor.

In order to add this button, drag the Facebook Like icon from the toolbar in the system.
Click on this element to display it’s settings menu:
Settings - here is where you can edit the tool's settings:

  • Action type: Allows you to choose between a Like and Recommend button.
  • Theme: In this field you choose a design.
  • Layout: Here you can change the element’s layout style. The system offers 4 layouts.
  • Display friends: Allows you to display friends who have shared the page.
  • Include share button: Allows you to remove the Share button.

Adding a Like Box

This element allows you to connect visitors to your Facebook page in a simple manner. This box allows each visitor to "Like" your page directly from within your website so that the Like will be added to your Facebook page likes.

In order to add this box, drag the Facebook Like Box icon from the toolbar to the desired location on the page.

Click on this element to display it’s settings menu:

  • Facebook page URL: Enter the page's URL.
  • Theme: Here you can determine the box's design.
  • Display friends: allows you to display pictures of friends who "Liked" the page.
  • Display posts: Allows you to display the page's posts.
  • Display header: Display's the page's header.
  • Display border: Displays the tool with a border.

Adding a Facebook Comments Box

The Facebook Comments element allows you to implement a comment box in chosen pages. This box allows the visitors to comment in your page using their Facebook profiles while displaying their comments on their walls.

To add this element, drag the Facebook Comments icon from the toolbar to the desired location on the page.

Clicking the element in the management interface will open its settings menu:

  • Theme: Allows you to determine the box's design.
  • Default number of comments to display: Allows you to determine the number of comments displayed on the page.

Adding a Tweet Button

The Twitter Sharing element allows you to make it possible for a visitor to share your page on their Twitter account.

In order to add this tool, drag the Twitter Sharing icon from the toolbar to the desired location on the page. When a visitor clicks this icon on the website, it will share your website on their Twitter account.

Adding a Google+ Button

The Google+ element allows the visitor to recommend your website on their Google+ account.
In order to add the tool, drag the Google+ icon from the toolbar to the desired location on the page.

Adding a LinkedIn Share Button

The LinkedIn Share element allows the visitor to recommend your website on their LinkedIn account. In order to add the tool, drag the LinkedIn Share icon from the toolbar to the desired location on the page.
